Behind the Ural Mountains, in the midst of the pine forest, on the floodplain of the Iset River, lies Zhemchuzhina Zauralya Health Resort The quality of nature’s generosity fully shines through in Kurgan region: pine forests with berries and mushrooms are populated by wide range of animal species: roe deers, foxes, squirrels and hares. During winter time trusting animals approach humans, searching for food. And fishermen stay happy all year long: bream, ide, pike, perch, Siberian roach, tench, crucian carp, ruff and burbot live in Iset river.

The resort is situated near the town of Shadrinsk. This location was chosen not only because its exceptional bioclimate, but also for esthetic reasons: Shadrinsk belongs to the Russian Union of Historical Towns and Regions. About 140 cultural monuments can be found here, even the region capital Kurgan does not have that many.
